Housekeeper

Our clients are seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join their team at their busy primary residence in Palm Beach. This is a full-time, year-round role.

 

The clients prefer candidates who have experience in fine homes, luxury/boutique hotels, or on yachts.

 

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on daily and deep cleaning of the residence according to the schedule.
• Follow detailed checklists/SOPs
• Attend to the family’s preferences and five-star standards.
• Refresh, ready & turn-over family & guest bedrooms.
• Thorough understanding of specialized cleaning for all fine furnishings and materials, which includes but is not limited to antiques, artwork, crystal, china, silver, brass, marble, fine linens etc.
• Keep wardrobes neat and organized
  • Pack away principals’ clothes in accordance with labels
  • Assist with packing and unpacking
• Monitor supply and inventory levels and alert the team when reorders are needed.
• Maintain laundry, storage cupboards, and garage in neat and orderly fashion. Rotate supplies.
• Run errands upon request.

 

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a Housekeeper in a private home, luxury hotel property, or yacht with a desire to offer five-star service.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent cleaning skills
• Knowledge in the care of fine materials and furnishings.
• Works well as part of a team; all hands-on deck attitude.
• Unflappable - enjoys work equally when the residence is empty and when it is bursting with family and guests.
• Superior communication skills. Fluent English is required.
• Presents well, a hospitality professional.

 

Schedule

Generally, five days a week. Hours and schedule will vary during residency months, guest visits, and events. The right candidate is content to work some weekends and holidays alongside the team. There will be some 6-day work weeks.

 

 

Salary and Benefits

Salary of $35-40/hour offered with an outstanding benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays.
