Housekeeper For An Upper East Side Family

Position Summary:

An executive couple with a beautiful UES Apartment would like to hire a high-energy with a calm presence, career Housekeeper to perform the daily hands-on cleaning and oversight of their home.

 

If you have a strong work ethic and some experience as a Housekeeper, our client's team will provide training.

 

The client is looking for an immediate start.

 

Responsibilities:

Assume full responsibility for the general and specialty cleaning of the home, including care of specialty materials and surfaces, performing a daily walkthrough and developing a cleaning schedule.  Expertly care for the principals' clothing and wardrobes (including laundry, ironing, pressing, etc.). The Housekeeper will also assist with provisioning, running errands, and light food prep.

 

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a housekeeper in a fine home for a private employer.
• Excellent, verifiable references.
• Exceptional hands-on cleaning and laundry skills are required.
• Self-starter who enjoys their work and embraces the opportunity to work independently.
• Positive and pleasant personality
• Seeking a long-term opportunity.

 

Schedule:

Generally, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

 

Compensation:

Compensation of $45-$55/hour offered, depending on experience. The principals will guarantee a 40-hour work week, year-round. Benefits include a health insurance stipend, an annual discretionary bonus, PTO, paid holidays (NYSE), and sick days.
