Safety Manager
Summary
The Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing the safety programs at ATS. They will create, present, monitor, and ensure compliance, while analyzing data to ensure the effectiveness of the programs. The Safety Manager will work proactively with internal departments to ensure employees and drivers are informed on procedures and expectations. They will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily workflow of employees, setting goals and guiding their performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Review all safety incidents and accidents, determine preventability, conduct post-accident reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed per guidelines.

Manage the team for optimal performance by communicating and clarifying expectations, monitoring and effectively communicating performance, coaching and mentoring for improvement and development, and rewarding employees for high performance.

Demonstrates, by their daily actions, ATS Mission, Vision, and Values in a consistent, effective, and reliable manner.

Support ATS’ culture by aligning actions, behaviors, performance, and decisions in accordance with the Company’s values as set forth in our All-Employee Competencies.
