Banquet Lead Houseman
Summary
Ensure proper set up and tear down of meeting and banquet facilities in
accordance with Big Cedar Lodge Food and Beverage standards and
guest requests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Properly sets up, maintains and tears down banquet functions.
2. Maintains a clean, neat appearance, adheres to uniform specifications and
reports to work for scheduled shifts.
3. Responsible for maintaining a high degree of cleanliness throughout function
space, storage areas and vehicles.
4. Keep all equipment clean and in good working condition.
5. Follows mandatory service requirements as described by the manual.
6. Adheres to all resort and company policies, rules and regulations.
7. Reports repairs or safety issues.
8. Takes the initiative to greet all guests and fellow associates.
9. Facilitate all guest requests in a timely and courteous manner.
10. Complies with state liquor laws and health regulations.
11. Will perform other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience
No prior experience or training.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Missouri class E or Arkansas “P” designated driver's license and a safe driving record is required.
Other Skills and Abilities
The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.
