Banquet Server - Lady Liberty

Summary

Provide friendly, professional service for all functions in accordance with

Big Cedar Lodge Food and Beverage standards.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1.   Properly sets-up, serves, and cleans-up banquet functions.

2.   Maintains a clean, neat appearance, adheres to uniform specifications

      and reports to work for scheduled shifts.

3.   Understands menus, preparation and food pick-up locations.

4.   Ensures the proper storage of all assets and maintains clean and orderly

      work areas.

5.   Follows mandatory service requirements as described by the manual.

6.   Reports repairs or safety issues.

7.   Adheres to all resort and company policies, rules and regulations.

8.   Takes the initiative to greet all guests and fellow associates.

9.   Facilitates all guest requests in a timely and courteous manner.

10.  Complies with state liquor laws and health regulations.

11.  Will perform other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:  No prior experience or training.

Language Skills:  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:   Missouri class E or Arkansas P designated driver's license and a safe driving record is required.

Other Skills and Abilities:  The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
