Implementation Analyst I

The Opportunity

ZEMA Global Data Corporation (Formerly ZE Powergroup Inc.) is a global leader in the development of enterprise data management and analysis software. We design and develop ZEMA, a sophisticated suite of products that provide clients with powerful capabilities for data collection, process automation, and business intelligence through web based analytical tools, services, and dashboards. ZE recognizes the dependence on our team members and repays that with trust and loyalty. ZE is expanding globally, currently strongly in Europe with the ZE Cloud expanding to Frankfurt & Amsterdam DataCentres. This is an exciting time of on-boarding and supporting clients across Europe and the wider EMEA region.

This position will be a hybrid position. Will be required to come into our Richmond, BC office 2-3 days a week as directed by management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy regular software updates to ZEMA Suite applications for ZE hosted and remotely managed clients
  • Provide support in larger activities such as major upgrades, patch deployments, performance tuning, escalations from other teams within Operations
  • Deploy and test emergency software updates to ZEMA Suite applications for ZE hosted and remotely managed clients
  • Liaise between clients and software development team, communicating deployment issues and bugs
  • Coordinate and implement improvements and new features as they are released
  • Identify problem areas or process issues and create knowledge base articles 
  • Participate in task forces, strategic initiatives, stretch assignments, and collaboration opportunities with other business units
  •  Assist with technical projects, hitting objectives and delivering on time
  • Conduct training for other teams and clients on the ZEMA Suite deployment processes
  • Become the subject matter expert for ZEMA enterprise software deployment 
  • Deliver effective reporting to management
  • Other ad hoc duties as directed by management

Ideal Candidate

  • Graduate with a certificate or equivalent education program with focus in Computer Sciences or related field
  • Basic analytical and organizational skills
  • Self-starter, fix inefficiencies, work independently and part of a team
  • Good Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated to successfully manage internal/external engagements and relationships 
  • Experience in a client-facing role (project management, application support, client-services, etc.)
  • Project management knowledge
  • Database Administration exposure
  • Experience in Linux is an asset 
  • Experience in automation, monitoring tools is an asset
