Housekeeping - 3rd Shift (10:45pm - 7:00am)

Peace River Citrus Products, Inc. – Clower Facility in Bartow, Florida

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for daily cleaning of the interior building for our facility.  Completes a variety of cleaning tasks, including: mopping, vacuuming, restrooms, breakrooms, cleaning surfaces, and emptying trash.  This employee will report to the maintenance supervisor with general hours of 10:45 PM - 7:00 AM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleaning and maintenance of flooring.
• Thorough cleaning of breakrooms and appliances.
• Thorough cleaning of restrooms.
• Disinfect common areas.
• Dusting and other surface cleaning.
• Cleans windows and mirrors.
• Emptying trash.
• Keeps janitorial closet clean.
• Replenishes supplies.
• Maintaining cleaning product inventory. Informing the maintenance supervisor when inventory is low.
• Comply with FDA, USDA, and GMP policies.  Perform all tasks in a safe manner to ensure achievement of Quality, Food Safety, and Cost objectives.  Comply with all standard operating procedures and requirements under PRCP Quality System.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies.
• Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally.
• Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments.
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism.
• Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team.
