HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST (DSP)
 
 
JOB SUMMARY:
 
This position is a Full-time position working under the direction of the Director of Human Resources—Administers personnel/human resources activities for the agency.  Responsibilities include; but, are not limited to all matters relating to Human Resources.
  
Always Maintains confidentiality.
 
Non-Exempt Position.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
The employee in this position performs a variety of Human Resources and Administrative duties including, but not limited to, the following:
 
Completes recruiting for all open DSP positions via job boards, company websites, colleges, and universities. 
 
Conducts interviews along with the interview panel for open DSP positions
 
Assures compliance of all personnel files along with HR Assistants and reports anything out of compliance to the Director of Human Resources. 
 
Conducts and participates in Job/Career fairs
 
Completes All onboarding for new hire DSP employees
 
Administers and maintains personnel files, electronically
 
Answers staff questions regarding Human Resources issues.
 
Completes new hire orientation including all new hire paperwork
 
Conducts DSP exit interviews
 
Completes all Admin employees off boarding such as receipt of any company equipment, DOL separation notices and change of status forms. 
 
Assist the Director of Human Resources with updating and development of policies and procedures
 
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Required:  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.  Must have experience in Human Resources.  Must have knowledge of personal computers (must know Microsoft Office Suite of Applications), calculator, fax machine, multiple line telephone systems, and copier.  Must have good communication skills, both written and spoken.  Must have a pleasant personality and be able to work well with others.  
 
OTHER KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
 
He/she must have a caring and patient attitude.  He/she must have a working knowledge of the agency’s Mission and Vision as well as the agency’s programs and services.  He/she must have a knowledge and understanding of the agency’s accreditation process and its value to the organization.
 
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
 
A business office environment is provided to enable efficiency and productivity.  
 
JOB RELATIONSHIPS:
 
He/She will be supervised by the Director of Human Resources
 
He/she will have no supervisory responsibilities over other employees.
