Intern - A&P Mechanic

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a member of Epic Flight Support, the Airframe & Powerplant Intern will participate as a valuable member of the team. This is a paid summer internship available to students currently enrolled in an Accredited A&P program, or recently graduated from an A&P program. The intern will gain real-world experience doing a variety of tasks related to Epic E1000GX Aircraft. Additional tasks may include:
- Assist experienced A&P mechanics in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft by carefully following oral or written instructions and detailed written procedures
- Remove, clean, inspect, and replace aircraft components following training and written procedures
- Ensure the work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner
- Clean and detail aircraft as needed
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- Required: Must be currently enrolled in an Accredited A&P Program, and working towards getting your Airframe & Powerplant Mechanics or AMT License
- We will also accept newly graduated students with an A&P License
- Avionics Experience helpful - training is provided
- A "can-do" teachable attitude with a willingness to help any person on the team with any task
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well with a team
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
