The Trust Operations Associate will be responsible for maintaining controls for the operations department including transactional reviews, account and asset reallocations, record keeping, and tax and portfolio accounting functions. What You'll Be Doing

  • Receive payments and verify amounts against supporting maps and reports.
  • Prepare daily worksheets with batch totals and balance cash against report.
  • Generate and distribute trust checks.
  • Make daily deposits for client accounts.
  • Compile, organize, and calculate daily trust activity for processing.
  • Collect income receipts including interest, dividends, rents, royalties, annuities, etc.
  • Setup and maintain client accounts, assets, and name and address records.
  • Prepare, review, and complete routine client documents including letters, memos, and reports.
  • Maintain files for the trust operations department.

Who You Are

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration preferred or equivalent years of experience.
  • Background knowledge in fiduciary and financial accounting, taxes and investments, and/or trust/estate regulations preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Customer service skills including actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions.
