IT Support Technician

Position Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician professional to support the Southern Region of a Family Office.

This is an in-person role when the family is in Palm Beach for the season, with time split between the principal's office and residence. There is some hybrid flexibility when the family is out of town.

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 white glove IT break fix support to the principals and their family
• Answer phone and email IT support requests from staff
• Implement best IT practices, while considering feedback from users
• Maintain a customer/business-focused mindset
• Understand the needs of the principals and how they relate to prioritization of tasks
• Manage vendors and vendor accounts for IT services in Florida
• Collaborate with the offsite IT Team Lead in creating and maintaining operating systems, equipment refreshes, and testing and monitoring updates
• Additional responsibilities to include managing onsite non-IT vendors at the office, monitoring and controlling office access, installing and maintaining security systems, and providing support with the hurricane preparedness plan for both the office and the Florida homes

 

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the IT field
• Prior experience supporting an executive is highly valued
• IT break-fix experience
• A customer service-oriented mindset
• Discretion, sound judgement, anticipatory to the needs of the team
• The ability to work on-call hours
• Bachelor's in IT or a related field preferred
• Multiple, verifiable references

 

Schedule:

Generally, Monday through Friday, business hours, with flexibility required for additional hours and some weekend work. To be successful in this role you should have a 24/7 support mindset.

 

Compensation:

$100,000 with an excellent benefits package includes an annual discretionary bonus, medical insurance, PTO, paid holidays.
