Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience in Environmental science, quality assurance, quality compliance, application tracking/review OR BA/BS Degree in Environmental science/policy, Biology, Chemistry

  • Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, Adobe
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook)
Duties:

Incumbent is involved in all aspects of the registration of antimicrobial products including tracking applications, reviewing applications, and emailing the Agency?s responses to the applications. The individual will also handle special projects associated with antimicrobial pesticides.

  • Review applications for new and amended registrations with includes evaluating /summarizing science reviews and/or risk assessments as well as evaluating the label and Confidential Statements of Formula to ensure compliance with FIFRA, 40 CFR Part 150-189, and labeling guidance. Prepares letters communicating the Agency?s regulatory decision for the Team Leader?s signature.   75%
  • Conducts Quality Assurance/Quality Compliance reviews on Registration Notices/Agency letters with stamped accepted labels before they are uploaded to the Pesticide Products Labeling System website.   15%
  • Schedules, facilitates, and/or participates in meetings with registrants and Agency scientists on new and pending applications with the Agency.   5%
  • Works on special projects associated with antimicrobial pesticides.   5%
