Senior Salesforce Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team. The Senior Developer will play a crucial role in Salesforce implementation projects, working closely with the Technical Architect to validate business requirements, ensure security, scalability, and adherence to software limits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or business management, with extensive experience in Salesforce development and customization. The Senior Developer will be responsible for modifying user interfaces, creating mobile interfaces, writing software components, and preparing release cycles for deployment. Additionally, the Senior Developer will lead the creation of system-to-system interfaces, work on data migration tasks, and integrate third-party software to deliver the full functionality of the project scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Technical Architect to validate business requirements and ensure adherence to best practices.
  2. Modify user interfaces and/or create mobile interfaces to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  3. Write software components to extend the Salesforce SaaS Platform, ensuring code documentation and adherence to best practices.
  4. Prepare release cycles and deploy new/update software to the existing application and codebase.
  5. Lead the creation of system-to-system interfaces and work on data migration tasks.
  6. Assist with third-party software integration to deliver the full functionality of the project scope.
  7. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  8. Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, best practices, and new features.
  9. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Management from an accredited college or university. Alternatively, four (4) years of additional qualifying experience can be substituted for the bachelor's degree. The substituted experience must be in addition to the required years of experience.
  2. Minimum of three (3) years of full-time equivalent (FTE) experience within the last seven (7) years as a Senior Developer on a Salesforce implementation project.
  3. Minimum of one (1) year of FTE experience as a Senior Developer on a Salesforce Public Sector Solutions implementation project.
  4. Certification as a Salesforce Platform Application Builder.

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. Experience with Salesforce Lightning development.
  2. Knowledge of Salesforce integrations, APIs, and web services.
  3. Experience with Salesforce development tools such as Salesforce DX.
  4. Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
