Full-Time Executive Housekeeper

Position Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled and professional Housekeeper to join a formal household with impeccable cleanliness and organizational standards. The ideal candidate will have a polished demeanor, impeccable attention to detail, and extensive knowledge of housekeeping best practices. Responsibilities:

• Manage the cleaning, organization, and maintenance of the household to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Oversee the care of museum-quality furnishings, fine fabrics, and delicate household items, ensuring proper preservation methods are employed.
• Handle all laundry tasks, including washing, ironing, steaming, and managing dry cleaning for both clothing and household linens.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including inventory management and record-keeping of food preferences.
• Execute miscellaneous household errands with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Welcome guests and oversee vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for household operations.
• Monitor and control access to the property, verifying the identity of visitors and managing entry permissions as necessary.
• Stay vigilant and proactive in identifying and addressing potential security risks, adapting security measures as needed to maintain a secure environment.
• Perform light household maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs, batteries, and minor repairs.
• Keep outdoor furniture, patios, and walkways immaculate through regular cleaning and upkeep.
• Maintain and clean household vehicles, scheduling services, refueling, and ensuring they are in optimal condition.

 

Qualifications:

The right candidate has at least 8 years' prior experience working as a Housekeeper in a private home or luxury hotel property and have excellent references. To be successful in this role you must be a self-starter with excellent cleaning skills, including knowledge in the care of fine materials, furnishings, and clothing. It is important that candidates have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

 

Schedule:

• General work schedule, Monday – Friday 9am-5pm, with the flexibility to work additional hours in the evenings or weekends as requested.

 

Compensation:

• Competitive salary range ranging between $100,000 - $135,000 with benefits including, annual discretionary bonus, health/dental/vision insurance, 14 days PTO, paid holidays.
