Utility Pole Inspector

Mi-Tech offers a broad range of professional, engineering and technical services to the telecommunications and power delivery markets. We have a current opening for a Utility Pole Inspector. At Mi-Tech, we support our customers and stakeholders and constantly strive to exceed expectations with all of our services, which include: Communications Design Services, Energy Distribution Services, Utility Pole Inspection, and Environmental Services.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to acquire field data (stick poles) to be used in the OSP Aerial design with supervision.
  • Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Utility pole maintenance, remedial treatments, and application of wood-preserving chemicals
  • Manage utility pole assets through web-based mapping, and collection of GPS data

 

Requirements:

  • No experience required
  • 100% Travel throughout Minnesota/Wisconsin/Iowa and other states. (All travel costs are paid for by Mi-Tech) 
  • Valid driver’s license required with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Applicants must be detail-orientated
  • Experience using handheld electronic devices preferred
