Shop Mechanic

Equix Integrity Southeast provides services to the Water/Wastewater collection systems industry, to both the public and private sectors. Our team of professionals have decades of experience in the Clean & TV, Inspection, Rehabilitation and Cross Bore markets. We have a current opening for a Shop Mechanic.

 

Responsibilities:  

• Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil and fluid levels
• Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors
• Perform repairs according to manufacturer and customer specifications
• Test parts and systems to ensure that they work properly
• Maintains a clean and safe work area 
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently with attention to detail
• Basic computer proficiency required
• A valid driver's license, CDL is a plus
• Must be open to work 2nd shift or weekends if needed
• Ability to effectively communicate, read and comprehend technical information
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with a team
• Ability to use carts, forklifts, hand truck, pallet jack, hand and power tools
