Property Management Couple, Bilingual

Position Summary:

A private family is looking to hire an experienced Property Management Couple to assume global responsibility for their established property in Costa Rica. This is a great position for an adventurous, hospitality-industry couple with experience in both front and back of house operations. While the property is well-staffed, the family is seeking a couple with a hands-on mentality who will embrace living in a remote location.

 

The family is seeking a couple who is Bilingual in Spanish and English.

 

Responsibilities:

• Property Maintenance – Assist and manage staff and vendors to care for the entire property, schedule routine maintenance, and ensure all systems are running well. Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify potential issues.
• HR/Admin – Manage the local team, develop an operation plan to maintain the property to the highest standards.
• Hospitality - Act as the primary point of contact for all family and guests. Manage ground logistics. Assist the kitchen team and hospitality team.
• Budgets/Purchasing – Assume responsibility for the annual capital budget, monthly and quarterly reporting. Manage purchasing for the property.
• Liaise with the Family Office team.
• Manage care and maintenance for vehicles.
• Represent the family within the community addressing philanthropic and social issues.

 

Qualifications:

Our clients are looking for hard-working and humble self-starters who work well independently and have demonstrated experience leading and developing strong teams. The right candidates have a keen eye for detail, exacting standards, are proactive, and always willing to roll up their sleeves. You must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

 

Schedule:

This is a full-time, year-round role. Generally, Monday – Friday, business hours with flexibility required when family or guests are on site.

 

Compensation: Compensation between $120K - $140K offered, commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits package with on-site housing and vehicle provided.
