POSITION TITLE:  Aircraft Maintenance Service Manager

Represent the customer throughout the entire work process. Assist the VP of MRO/DOM by managing work orders from start to finish to ensure a profitable shop.

Upon request from the customer, quote the work that is being requested using internal resources and work with technical sales to ensure an efficient and competitive proposal is generated.

Work with VP of MRO/DOM and Supervisors to schedule the projects into the MRO.

Introduce the customer to the crew lead and be sure the customer is aware of all services offered at Banyan.

Plan the projects depending on the magnitude of the project, meet with DOM, crew lead, inspection, and the customer to be sure all expectations are aligned.

Keep the customer apprised of escalating costs and revealed discrepancies.

As discrepancies arise throughout the project, additional written customer approvals are required, and action required to complete each item.

Build a relationship with the customer communicating from start to finish ensuring future business.

Deliver the aircraft on time.

Adhere to all other duties as assigned on job performance plan

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Requires a high school diploma, plus a minimum of five years' previous related experience. Prior experience an A&P mechanic. Previous management experience a plus.
