Excavator Operator

Reporting to the appropriate site supervisor, the Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible to ensure Macro Speicapag Joint Venture achieves their general and specific project requirements.



  • Extensive experience as an excavator operator
  • Conducts pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments
  • Logs and reports any maintenance concerns with the equipment
  • Operate excavator safely and efficiently to meet production targets
  • Complete production reporting and other documentation as required
  • Ensures the safety of the crew, equipment, and environment
  • Ensures that work is completed during regular hours



  • 3+ years experience operating an Excavator in an earth works site environment
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Experience on Steep Slopes
  • A safety-conscious attitude
  • The ability to work with others in a team
  • Must be willing to work in remote job locations
  • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a significant number of hours throughout the day
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments
