DEFINITION:
The Employment Specialist works as a member of a small team to assist adults who
have Serious Mental Illness to find and maintain competitive employment. The
Individualized Placement and Support (IPS) Program is an Evidenced-Based program
that operates on the understanding that gainful employment is a critical
component of recovery. The Employment Specialist carries a caseload of up to 20
individuals, and duties include support and assistance
