Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Epic Aircraft, based in beautiful Bend, Oregon, is the leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance, all-composite, six-seat single-engine turboprop aircraft. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for utilizing all appropriate resources and channels to assist Sales and Marketing in attaining the maximum level of Epic aircraft sales, including lead generation and qualification, events, demonstration flights, reporting, and sales enablement materials. You will play a critical and active role in day-to-day sales operations, including sales activity coordination, competitor research, inbound lead qualification and as well as build and maintain strong customer, prospective customer, and partner relationships. You will play a fundamental supporting role in tracking and achieving established sales KPIs. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and/or marketing support, preferably in the high-end, luxury, or business market.

Other Essential Duties Include:

  • Identifies, generates, and qualifies sales leads through appropriate background research on prospect financial condition, authority to purchase, mission needs, and purchasing timeline
  • Maintains an inventory and directory of sales support materials, ensuring all assets are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed
  • Assists with the planning and management of Sales and Marketing attendance at trade shows, events, and meetings by identifying, coordinating, and assembling requirements, developing assignments and schedules
  • Coordinates demonstration flights
  • Tracks all sales activities in company CRM system and updates information (contacts, lifecycle stage, notes, tasks) regularly to ensure the highest level of data integrity
  • Maintains a well-developed, accurate pipeline of prospects
  • Supports demand generation programs (lead scoring, email marketing, paid media, SEM/SEO, and more)
  • Prepares and submits in a timely fashion appropriate reports as determined by the Sales and Marketing leadership
  • Develops an awareness of competitive aviation sales activity and general business trends 
  • Develops strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
  • Facilitates seamless, positive experiences for prospective buyer factory tours including hotel/car reservations and catered meals
  • Coordinates and follows up on special requests from prospects and customers with appropriate departments and personnel 
  • Goes above and beyond the normal job duties and responsibilities as needed as a member of a sales and marketing team that's still growing
  • Builds a cooperative team spirit and acts as a brand ambassador, assisting Flight Operations, Customer Delivery, and Customer Support to foster a positive customer experience

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and work experience
  • 2+ years of sales, marketing, or customer service experience
  • PC literate with high-level skills in 
    • Windows and Microsoft Office software
    • Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud suite and HubSpot is a plus
  • Able to communicate effectively with all types of people with diplomacy 
  • Deadline and schedule-oriented, yet able to flex with dynamically changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to be poised, positive, and effective during high-pressure situations
  • Ability to anticipate issues and have (or quickly develop) contingency plans
  • Highest degree of ethics, professional conduct, and discretion
  • Motivated, high-energy individual
  • An aviation background is preferred but not required
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
